Ive been going here since I could walk. This campground is a true gem,its family friendly, the sites are nice, the rangers are kind and helpfull,I wish I could live here all summer long! There are plenty of things to do both on the grounds and center hill and surrounding areas. I could say soooo much more but it would be very long so.
A must go !!

A nice state campground right next to Webb Lake. Access to the beach/picnic area is a short drive/walk away, depending where you are in the campground. Our site had a short trail close by that led right to the beach.
Some of the sites were bigger than others, but all were surrounded by trees that provided a good amount of privacy and shade. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit.
The closest restroom to our site was a pit toilet, but it seemed to be cleaned regularly. There was also a dishwashing station next to the toilets. The shower house had free hot showers and nicer restrooms with mirrors/sinks.
The ranger station sold firewood and ice, and had maps of the area available.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very relaxing and in close proximity to hiking in the area. I would highly recommend it!

Stayed at Site 22 and had a great experience overall. The campground is typical of Maine state parks—well-maintained and scenic. The campsites offer a decent amount of space between them, though you can still see and hear neighboring campers. Verizon service is very limited in the campground area. If you need a signal, your best bet is to head toward the lake near the beach, where the reception improves slightly. Views of the surrounding mountains are nice from the lake. Easy access to hiking in the Tumbledown area. I do wish the trails around the campground area were better maintained. Would have made for a nice stroll in the early morning but they were very overgrown. Otherwise, would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a quiet and scenic time away.

This state park is so awesome. We were so impressed with how handicap accessible everything is (neither of us are handicapped but the trails and the access were just so impressive)!!! The electric sites look very nice, the showers were hot and clean, and the bathrooms were so clean. Stayed here for two nights for our end of season camp out, can’t wait to come back next year to paddle board!

We first reserved site 123 but thought it was a little too open for us so we asked if we could switch to site 40 which is more wooded. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly!
The campground itself was very quiet because we stayed the second weekend of September. The bathrooms were clean. Showers are separate from the toilets. Campsites are regularly picked up and checked after people leave. There are animals to see throughout, we saw rabbits, frogs, bats, various rodents and lots of birds!
The beach area and boat launch are awesome! The water is crystal clear and shallow. There is a changing room and bathroom area at the beach, as well as a large playground area and covered picnic tables. The trails that run along the lake have picnic tables and grills scattered in the woods. The boat launch has a nice dock, plenty of parking and a good loop around road for trailers. Though we didn't have much luck fishing at the boat launch it was a beautiful view and we are definitely coming back next year!
