The campground features three crystal-clear pools, engaging activities for children, and well-kept bathrooms that enhance the overall experience. A nor ' easter Storm headed right to this area the day we were supposed to arrive. Had to cancel the ferry and the travel at Marthas vineyard. When I called to cancel my campground reservation due to the huge storm heading that way I was told
NO REFUND. I explained to the manager that I did not want to have my Rv damaged and needed to deviate away from the storm. I was calling to cancel. I was told they do not give refunds unless it was a hurricane. Shocked since ferry refunded and travel agent in island refunded but the campground kept every penny. Did not even offer a voucher for next time! It was on the news that indeed the storm brought horrific winds and flooding took place. I would advise anyone booking this place to beware! They will keep every penny if you cancel. No customer service!

I have been camping at Bay View Family Campground for at least 25 years.

The management are all very helpful and I have never had any issues with them or any other campground worker. A majority of the workers will stop and talk with you if you want to have a conversation.

The fact that the campground has 3 pools that are always clean is wonderful. The pools do not get overly crowded and there is staff to help keep any wild children under control.

Every weekend, in season, has activities for the kids. I had my grandson, and he did tie dye t-shirts, design your own t-shirts and other craft projects. They have two playgrounds that help keep kids busy as well. Saturday nights they have a band where you can dance and have fun.

The campground is large and great to walk. Yes, there are hills, but going up and down is good for your muscles. I love walking around and seeing how nicely people decorate their sites.

If you are thinking about going, go. You will be glad you did.

We reserved a space for three nights the week of Labor Day. The campground is in a good location for exploring Cape Cod. We didn't take advantage of the amenities as we were mostly gone during the day but there seems like a lot to do. Our site was fantastic--level ground, lots of shade, plenty of space. We had water and electric which we made use of though we are tent campers. I must mention the bathroom facilities by our site. They were absolutely the most well maintained we've ever experienced. They were clean, fresh smelling and dry every time we went in. The showers are spacious with plenty of hooks and a bench to set a bag down. Also--LOVED the music playing (lol) no kidding it was a great playlist and I found myself singing in the shower and dancing while brushing my teeth. The staff obviously care very much and take pride in the property.

This was the best maintained campground I have ever been to. Every inch of the campground was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful with local interests as well as meeting our camping needs. They have fire places instead of fire pits. We absolutely loved them. There are three wonderful pools that are crystal clear and refreshing. The location is only 15 minutes from parking to Martha's Vineyard. This is simply the best campground I have ever been to.

I was a little nervous about a couple reviews which seemed to be made by rule breakers who didnt like those rules being broken.

We were extremely impressed with our stay. The staff was all friendly, pools were amazing (we only visited lower pool but that was perfect for us) the grounds were spotless and staff was always riding around cleaning. Bathrooms and showers were top notch.

Only thing that we didnt love was it is a bit hilly so didn't suit itself to bike rides with the kiddos but cant blame the campground for that.
