What Guests Are Saying

Adventure Bound Cape Cod offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, conveniently located near Provincetown and the beach. Guests praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and quality service, with many recommending it for both campers and those renting campers. However, some tent sites are noted to be small and cramped, and there are concerns about the early closing hours of the camp store and the lack of cooking facilities on certain sites.

What an amazing place this is ! Is peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Only few mins away from Commercial or Bradford st by bike. Very close to the water. I enjoyed this place so much I came back twice. And no campground, I don't care how nice it is, wouldn't be worth staying at if it wasn't professionally run and kept in spotless condition. Which this place is.. I even got locked out of my camper one night on my last day around 2a.m. And the police came over, and one officer was just getting off duty as a matter of fact, I believe he was when he spent a good 1/2 hr helping me get into my camper because of my important medication was in there and he wasn't going to give up and succeeded, so kudos and much appreciation to officer Mike and Provincetown P.D. If this is your first trip to Provincetown definitely stay here. If you don't have a camper, they have them to rent... So much better than a guest house and those aren't bad either but this place takes vacationing here to a whole new level of fun. You will be hooked on the town and this campground, which means you will be coming here every chance you get ! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would !!!!.. Sincerely: Gregg The camper guy

We were already used to excellent reviews and great service at this camp. But what impressed us the most was how the management and staff handled an issue that came up during our stay. The way problems are solved here is the best proof of high-quality service!

The location is perfect: very close to Provincetown, within walking distance to the beach. Right across the camp, you can buy fresh live lobsters—make sure to bring a big pot! In the summer months, a bus runs every 30 minutes with a stop right by the camp, so you don’t have to worry about parking.

This was the best vacation week of the year for us. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this camp to everyone!

I booked a primitive tent campsite, which means no water or electric hookup, the site had a picnic table and a fire pit that you can move around wherever you want. The site I had wasn't super private but it wasnt incredibly cramped either, so overall it was fine I guess.

Bathrooms were clean and showers were free.

The cashiers in the store were very friendly and even gave me recommendations for dog friendly beaches (herring cove) and a fun place I could take my dog to run out really far during low tide with a bunch of other dogs and it was basically a dog park but in the ocean (harbor view hotel)
Complaints I have is the camp store closes at 4 Saturday and Sunday, closes at 6pm on Friday, so if you need firewood you need to remember to buy it BEFORE THE STORE CLOSES AT 4PM. It's been a while since I've stayed at a campground with a store but 4pm on a Saturday seems a bit early (but maybe they all close that early I don't remember), so we had to get in our car and drive down the street to the shell station a few minutes away and buy firewood for 10$ a bundle.
Also the site we had did NOT have a grill or any kind of grate to put on the fire pit to cook, I have never been to a site without at least something to cook on.

Nice little campground. My issue is its very tight, so please be careful
They do offer pump put service for only $25 which is nice.

They do offer free wifi and havr plenty of public bathrooms and showers. That could use a little face lift.

Nice 20 minute walk to the beach. Not bad pretty flat and shaded trail to walk.

But over all a nice campground if you want to get up and go and their is plenty to do around here.

This campground is in a great location. That’s it. If you are tent camping, be advised that the tent sights are small and cramped. The “premium primitive campsites” in yellow on the map used to be the biggest and best campsites I have ever visited. They put up a fence and now there’s barely room for your car and a tent next to the road and RVs. The sites are literally reduced by size 90% and the same cost. Also, if you have a small campfire at 11pm they will roll up and dump a bucket of water on it and walk away. This used to be the best campground on the outer cape, now it’s not even an option for me. 2 stars is high for a tent camping experience in the area.
