If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Let me start by saying I am completely green when it comes to camping with a camper. I just bought mine in July, and honestly, I’m learning as I go. We were in town for my kids’ baseball tournament nearby and decided to bring the camper instead of staying in a hotel.

Before our visit, I contacted the owner to confirm electric and water hookups. He let me know he could fill our water tank and that our site had electric hookup available, and he absolutely did not disappoint. He greeted us upon arrival, filled our water tank, backed my camper in for me, and made sure everything was set up correctly. Not only that, checked on us a couple times during our stay to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything.

The campground itself is beautiful, located on a peaceful property overlooking the river (bring your tubes and floaties!) with a great beach area that we were lucky enough to camp right next to. And yes...hot showers on site!

We had an early tournament Sunday morning and returned to the campground around checkout time. The owner stopped by and told us to take our time and enjoy the property since no one else was scheduled for our site that day. That level of kindness and hospitality really stood out.

The owner went above and beyond to help my family during our short stay, the other campers were incredibly friendly, and we truly cannot wait to come back again.

Camped here for the first time. The campground was fully booked, but not loud. Sites were clean.

Nice clean beach at either end of the camp ground. Everyone picked up after their dog! Gordy made sure anyone who wanted firewood got it.

Canoeing, kayaking, and tubing available. We'll be back!

My kids have a seasonal campsite here. It's very serene, quiet and on the cedar river.
They have 2 nice little beaches for swimming. Its shallow here and great for everyone. My small grandchildren love it! Each campsite has water and electric hookups. The have showers and port a pottys. There is a small playground for the children. The owner is very friendly and onsite. A very clean and well maintained park and very safe.

Great hosts and clean campground! These owners care about their park for sure. We had a site right across from the river. It was so peaceful and nice. The owner came by and checked on us a few times, asked if we needed wood and when we did need wood he delivered it right to us. We went kayaking down the river which was definitely an experience! They loaded our kayaks and drove us to the drop off point and we kayaked for about 3 hours by the time we hit our campsite again. Love this campground it's cozy and small but the sites are big. Definitely recommend for the experience, the view and the hospitality.

Great little campground. Roughly about 40-45 sites. Some with water hookup now. Clean, big showers, clean portajohns. Some sites are better than others. Very friendly owners who came around multiple times a day to make sure we were good. Firewood was delivered right to your site. Campground sits on a river that has two small beaches, great for kids. A small playground was there, too. There was a drop in site a few miles up the road to float/kayak down the river to the campground. I only recommend it for canoeing or kayaking, we tried to tube down the river and there were too many fallen trees and branches to get around. The tube float down about 2.5 miles of river took us about 5 hours. Not the fault of the campground though. We would happily return again!
