Trailhead Bar, Restaurant and Campground

Grass is never mowed, place is unkept, shower rooms need to be updated badly, if/when the bar and restaurant is open the prices are very much inflated, cluttered and poor staffing as well. Will never stay/go here again. Sad because it has potential to be a nice place.

Not really happy campers. I read reviews, and no one mentioned the issue with the placement of the electric/water hookups. They are in the front on the left side of the lots. We have a 41’ fifth wheel and our plug is in the back on the right side of the camper. Needless to say, our cord didn’t reach. We moved our fifth wheel to the left of the pad…. Still didn’t reach. Thankfully our friend that we were traveling with had two 30 amp cords that we could use and connect. The grass/weeds aren't maintained. The restaurant/office was never open at all throughout our entire stay. I feel like all of this information should be relayed to those who are booked to stay here. We planned to hit the restaurant the night we arrived due to our later arrival and had to come up with a plan B. It’s a beautiful piece of land, and very peaceful. I almost get the feeling that the owners have semi retired, even if just mentally.

First time on drummond island, had our dog with us and they were more than accommodating. We sat on the back patio with our dog and the waitress even brought him a large bowl of cold water. The food was amazing and the service was unbelievable.

Place is poorly taken care of. Bathrooms were disgusting and not stocked! Campground was quiet but not taken care of. Owner was not nice one bit. Ordered a long Island ice tea at the restaurant and it looked like lemonade. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was close to trails and better taken care of. This is why we booked again. This place has really gone down hill.

The restaurant we had a few great meals and met the owners who were super nice! The food was good, service was good and overall atmosphere was great. The campground/restaurant has a great location for riding but would say the campsites are a bit small compared to the typical rustic campground sites we usually stay at -- although they are large enough and during our stay were great for what we needed. We met really nice people throughout, the bathrooms and shower were a huge plus for the price. We will go back to the restaurant and campground the first chance we get! Made friends, had great meals and enjoyed our stay -- Thank you Trailhead Campground and Restaurant.
