I was there last year booked for three days but only stayed for 1 days I had a illness in the family my mom. This was an emergency I had to drive back to Texas. I let them know that I had to leave and they did not refund the money on the two days I wasn't there. That was not professional at all just greedy people who run this place life happens they felt right at home keeping my money for the two days I couldn't stay. There is no shame for greedy money mongering people and that's why the world is in the condition it's in😡 If I could give this place a O I would.

The staff is awesome, The lady who runs the office is great, she was very helpful and wanted to be sure we were happy. When we first got to our site it was a little smaller then I expected she had no problem moving us to another site which ended up being perfect!! We went out kayaking and wasn't able to make it back before the store closed for firewood I gave her a call in the office and she had it delivered without a problem.
We were there on trick or treat weekend, it was amazing everyone at the campground decorated the kids loved it!!

Pros
• Decent-sized campsites (our site fit two 8-person tents comfortably)
• Golf carts available to rent (reserve early)
• On-site store with ice cream, snacks, and a few arcade games for kids
• Wibit water play area is fun for kids
• Main bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained
• If you are camping via RV you will probably be fine since you have your own bathroom
• Staff are super nice and helpful
Cons
• Limited golf carts and a steep hill to the main bathrooms (you’ll need a cart or drive)
• Wibit water play area costs $21 per hour or $33 for the day on weekends
• Beach and swimming area are just a man-made pond, not a true Michigan inland lake
• Outhouses are nasty, smell bad, full of flies, and not very clean — avoid them if possible
• The flies are insane, with so many that they become a constant nuisance
• Nearby river for kayaking/tubing is currently not maintained due to DNR funding cuts (full of debris and vegetation)
• Bacteria levels in the river are currently not being monitored, making water safety questionable
• There is a main road nearby, so you will hear cars and trucks. There is also a lot of light near the front part of the park. We stayed on the man-made swimming pond side.

Our family spent a week here. Sherry was AMAZING everyday we were in the store. The camp was clean and everyone was friendly. We even were able to talk to Terry and Matt the owners and they helped us out on making a decision to work on getting a seasonal sight. And it looks like we will be doing this for the rest of the season we loved it so much. Looks like our family will be spending lots of time here.

This campground was amazing. We stayed there with our 4 kids. The Wibit was a huge hit. Lots of different playgrounds. Teens found great friends and things to do with them. We had a site right on the Wibit pond. The place was quiet and very nice employees. Bathrooms were extremely nice. Kids were upset that we had to leave.
