I loved it there!! It was so quiet and peaceful!! They had a playground for our kids and they had other activities up by the office. The bathroom were nice and clean. The showers were awesome cause you can look up at the sky when showering. We had a big site cause the one next to us was being worked on. They also have a ice cream camper that has really good ice cream!! There is no water at your camp site, but there is a water station for campers and whatever can hold water and they had regular pumps for filling water containers. They do have electric though and I was happy for that! The staff and family that live and work there are so friendly and kind! This is a great place for anyone who wants to get outdoors in the peace and quiet. Also, great prices!!

This was such a good find!! It was the perfect place to go camping with our 1 year old for the first time! The campground is easy to get to and enough into the woods that you don't hear road noise. All the other campers were nice and it was a quiet and enjoyable stay. There is drinkable water, showers, plumbed bathrooms with running water sinks, a small playground, an area with yard games, private walking trails right from the campground, and they recently put in an ice cream truck at the entrance to the campground which was a huge added bonus to walk over there in the evening to enjoy a treat. Across the street there is also a farm stand with fresh produce and baked goods. We got food from them to cook as we camped. The owners of the campground are very nice. You have to use their wood and purchase it from their small shop and they deliver it to your site for you. There is also a Keurig with coffee available. We had really good cell service here too and we have Mint Mobile as our provider. We camped in spot 10 which is along the forest in the back. We enjoyed that because it felt a little more private.
Overall it was an excellent time! We definitely plan to be back.

Hot Showers! I repeat, hot showers! Cleanest Port-a-pots I've ever seen. Well groomed play area and spacious sites. The large wood was too much for us for two nights and three fires, small should be fine. Fire pits are on the smaller side (one log for scale in the picture), but worked just fine. Owners are just wonderful, delivered our wood and were flexible with site assignment. Quiet place and other campers were very respectful. Easy drive to Higgins Lake or Clare. Good atmosphere over all. I will definitely be coming back.

This is a great campground with very kind owners. They deliver your wood, it has nice clean bathrooms, a beautiful shower area, it feels quiet, cozy and safe. It has nice trails with trillium flowers all over, a huge playground and games you can play with your family. Good for solo camping and/or for families. I've stayed at Wilson State Park , and this place is so much quieter, and friendly. Bring a hammock, lots of hammock friendly trees too!
