Holly Campground

This is absolutely the most pathetic camp ground i have ever had the non pleasure of staying at. They are more expensive than any camp ground around. Yet is unmaintained and just rundown. I believe they get by because of the picture of their pool. Which would be nice if they didnt close it early always because of pure laziness. Before writing this i took time and read all the recent bad reviews which let me tell you there are a lot of 1 star reviews in the last year. The place is ran by cocky unproffesional condescending children who dont know the first thi g about hardwork or customer service. I could go on an on but just for example wr asked gor them to cut the grass and just like all the responses to their bad reviews. They made zn excuse said ohh yeah we just dont have the staff. Well you better get the staff with those kind of prices. Anyway they send some purpme haired girl down with a weed whip she whips around two trees and theu called it mowed. This place is a joke and should not be in business. Absolutely for no reason what so ever should anyone ever stay here.

My experience at the Holly Campground was TERRIBLE! The bathrooms were disgusting! A rabid raccoon tried to get into our camper, the grass hadn’t been cut in over two weeks at our site. I asked repeatedly for our lawn to be cut. When they didn’t oblige, I waited to pay them, they called the state police rather than speak to me or take my payment. It was embarrassing to say the least. I had called a day prior to speak with the manager to take my visa over the phone. She told me in the presence of law enforcement that it’s not necessary for her to return my call. I was told I wasn’t allowed to have a tent on my site along with a camper, I inquired as to why the other two neighboring sites were allowed tents and the manager (the girl with pink hair) proceeded to tell me why each of the other two sites were allowed tents, one for a bbq grill and the other for a patio set. ??? The washing machines steal your money. We were put on a site away from EVERYONE ELSE. The place was discriminating, dirty, rude and wrong for how awful they treated my family. Staff is not very good with communicating, no hot water at all, it’s ice cold, AC didn’t work and had to switch cabins, cabins also were dirty and had dead bugs on the beds, I wouldn’t recommend coming here, too overpriced it’s not worth it, we called for help when our power turned off and they looked annoyed, this place isn’t worth it, our door to our cabin also wasn’t locking, the key only was for one lock, again our door wasn’t locking and we told them, they didn’t do much about it. Don’t recommend.

After actually staying staff very accommodating. Will deliver fire wood to your site. Pool is very nice. Putt putt is 5 dollars a person and could use a major over haul and up keep. Some driveways are washed out leading around the park. Staff had issues charging some items in store, bar codes not working or items miss spelled trying to look them up. 2 large dumpsters for trash and full. Also maybe a trash can on the patio. Over all for the price I would have expected the whole campground better in upkeep. Will stay again but now better prepared on what to expect.

The place was overall decent it’s small but we weren’t expecting much. The only thing we could get in was a pool. They had found a rat in it after we swam in it for 5 hours. I asked for a refund so we decided to pack up and leave, due to us not being able to use the pool. She absolutely refused to refund me back for the second night. It is very gross, rats carry nasty diseases. I had 2 toddlers and 2 kids who aren’t teenagers yet. I was very disappointed after she refused the refund. Cabins were great though. Hoping we won’t get sick! I will NOT be back, the way they handled it was very disgusting.
