Lakeside Resort Campground

We were here for just an afternoon, visiting family who were actually camping on site. But from what I saw it looks like a lovely campground! Not too large, and everything seemed nice and neat. It was very quiet. They could do better on visibility of the numbers for the campsites. Waterfront on a good amount of the campsites, and each one had its own dock. A nice little breeze was coming through where we were sitting, making even a very hot day tolerable. There was also a big pool that looked very clean with lots of chairs for lounging.

Playgrounds unfinished & unsafe. Beach non-existent. Fishing dock unrepaired. Grumpy old men everywhere. Pool filthy.

We stayed at Lakeside for over a month while transitioning up north for a job. We had to move to 4 different sites throughout our stay and extend our reservation 3 times and they were very accommodating. The campground is clean, mostly quiet, except the site we were in last #111. I do not recommend this site or this row of sites as it was very noisy and neighbors were very nosy! They wanted to know of our comings and goings constantly to the point of it being intrusive of our privacy. Beware of these seasonal guests who think they own the park. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the pool was mostly empty during the week even with it being summertime.

Thoroughly enjoy staying out here. Lots of friendly seasonal campers. Theres always something to do. Fish,horseshoes, washer toss /corn hole tournaments, trails,a new saltwater pool, bbqs, food trucks on occasion along with other cool events. The lake is okay to swim, but shallow, so great for younger kids . There are parks throughout, and some gettinng updated for next season. We've been camping here for many years, and more to come.
