What Guests Are Saying
Seaton Creek Campground is a beloved annual destination, particularly the group 1 site. While a generator disturbance from the camp host disappointed some guests, the campground is well-maintained and offers enjoyable amenities, including a fun rope swing and a scenic river trail. Additionally, the friendly maintenance worker, Tom, enhances the overall experience.

We stay at Seaton Creek every year and absolutely love the group 1 site. However this year at 5am a generator was running until 6:30. On my way to the bathroom I noticed it was the Camp hosts site running the generator. Very poor management of their usage of a generator. I was very disappointed.
The rope swing at the river was awesome. It is a bit difficult to get to the water but well wroth it.

Everything was great, the campground had everything we needed and was well maintained, and the campground maintenance worker was an entertaining guy (Tom). He was happy to bring us wood upon request. The river trail from Seaton Creek to the Red Bridge was amazing as well.

Group site was in great condition. Tables provided for sitting, food prep, and even a great grill for charcoal cooking. Latrines were clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the proximity to the Manistee River Trail and easy access to the creek for swimming. Camp host was helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience for our Scout Troop.

Had a great time with a group of guys from Crossroads Bible Church. Great to have a group campsite where we can all gather after a long day on the MRT!

The campground host was amazing by keeping the bathrooms clean, lots of firewood, etc. The group site was perfect for our family adventures.

Seaton Creek is an absolutely gorgeous campground. I stayed in one of the group sites during my trip and it was a fantastic choice. The group sites are incredibly private and peaceful which is exactly what I was looking for. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The vault bathrooms were kept very clean throughout our stay. While it does take a little extra effort to get water from the pump, it's definitely worth it. The water is delicious and ice-cold to boot! The only negatives to this campground are that the road to the campground is pretty rough and that the area is extraordinarily buggy. If you're looking for a hidden gem, I highly recommend staying at Seaton Creek!

This was the 2nd year I have been up in a group site on memorial day weekend. I found I much prefer the smaller and more shaded group site 2 over the more open and bigger group site 1. We hiked the trail one day and just hung around the site the next day. We'll be booking again next year ASAP.
