What Guests Are Saying
Raging River Resort offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-vegetated sites and clean bathrooms. The pool and hot tub are highlights, and the natural setting provides beautiful hiking trails and a serene river view. However, some drawbacks include noise from a nearby waste site, inconsistent campsite cleanliness upon arrival, and challenges related to the dirt road and booking policies.

Love this campground. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. Sites are spaced out and have lots of vegetation surrounding them. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and clean. We love to go sit by the river. It's a little drive off the main drag, but worth it.

I love the campground. There鈥檚 lots of space between me and everyone else there are no full hook ups, which is a downer. The biggest drawback is the road back to the campsite. They don鈥檛 put the stuff that you put down on gravel roads to keep them from being dusty so don鈥檛 bother washing your vehicle or your trailer before you Just plan on taking an extra day to clean it all when you get back. It is a great campground, other than that

Stopped here to check out the progress and its took me by surprise. If I could only bring my friends up!
It was a rainy day so I just walked thru. What a beautiful addition and hope it catches on! 馃憦

Campsite wasn鈥檛 clean upon arrival. I had to clean up 6 piles of dog poop. Even though it was set Way back in the woods, there was Constant noise from gravel pit and waste management site from next road over, even at night. On the plus side, there were a lot of nice campsites to choose from. Nice trails to hike. Beautiful setting, but the noise from the nearby waste management was unexpected.

Loop B, July 2025:
Overall, the camp was quite nice. Open areas for 2 tents plus your vehicle. There did not appear to be a quiet hour. The campsites had fire rings with grills on it. Easily used to cook on iron skillets. The electrical boxes had plugs for standard devices as well as the plug necessary for a trailer.
Bathrooms are mainly well kept, though they could be swept more often. They are also warm and have great running water. Additionally, bathrooms have codes to enter them. Somehow people can鈥檛 seem to be bothered to knock. I highly recommend you pull the door and make sure it鈥檚 locked.
The dirt road into the camp is long and windy, while it鈥檚 wide enough for 2 vehicles, campers are not careful. Almost got hit by a truck that took a turn using the middle of the road.
Believe we paid around $70 per night for a campsite. Website wasn鈥檛 clear about terms and conditions until they emailed us a few days before we arrived. We had to last minute book another campsite to fit another tent and car for $56 night due to a July promotion. They allowed 1 vehicle and 2 tents, which felt quite arbitrary. Meaning that two vehicles and 3 tents could fit in an area because they were inconsistently sized. Felt as if we overpaid just to add a tent. What stops campers from bringing two 8 person tents after all? For extra vehicles they provide overflow parking. Campsites so clean we couldn鈥檛 find sticks to help build a fire, though they had some wood sheds. Campsites are close to a booce ball pit and a nearby lake where one could swim or kayak.
They also have a nearby sister site, Rippling River Resort, with at has a pool and hot tub. Pool and hot tub close at 10p. We did not eat at their restaurant, their pizza appeared to just be frozen in a nearby freezer.
