Parkside Campground

Smaller sites but pretty level. Very few open spots. Mostly seasonal campers. Facilities are somewhat dated but clean. Laundry available and reasonable.

No beach. No pool. Small old playground. Stayed here a couple times at a friend's trailer but would not book just for ourselves. Cost us extra to go to the State Park beach so we would rather just stay there. Kids were bored and wanted to be around the water so we spent all day at the State Park anyways.

We stayed approximately a week. The site was nice size, parked a 27ft camper, car, motorcycle and still had room around the camper. The lady working the store was the sweetest I've encountered in a very long time. She had such a great attitude and was so kind. I would recommend this campground to any and all. It's close to the state park public access.

I have stayed at the Campground a couple times a season for the past three years. Each year there have been several great improvements to the park. This last season I was most impressed with the little cabins that had been added and the overall clean up of the campground itself. Trees cleared and a fence was gone . It looked very inviting when you drove in. I have to the most impressive part was the updated bath house. Very nice and clean that was so nice to experience. We are looking forward to this next season and can’t wait to stay again.

This is the most QUIET campground I have EVER been to....the couple that runs the place are wonderful, even help guide u into ur sight. You are packed in here, but you would never know it....wonderful wonderful!!
