What Guests Are Saying

Lake Nineteen Campsite offers a small, pleasant environment ideal for two small tents, with good lakeside water access. However, it lacks pit toilets, which some visitors found disappointing. There were also concerns about noise and aggressive dogs from nearby campsites.

I actually didn't go to this campsite. I originally had this campsite reserved but then noticed in a comment that there were no pit toilets of any kind on the site or in the area, so I made a different reservation for another site that seemed to indicate it did have a vault toilet. However, that site did not actually have vault toilet either. I am infuriated by the recreation.gov reservation system in its complete inability to specify whether or not a site has or does not have a toilet. If it does not have a toilet it should say so and not leave the user to wonder.

As we got there, we were loading stuff in the boat to get across the other side to the other side the people at a campsite right at the boat lunch had a dog, and it ran up and almost bit. My kids and girlfriend very upset about it there was no fish And the people on the other side we asked him to keep it down, cause we could hear them all the way across the lake.

Small but nice camp site with room for two small tents on flat areas with beds of pine needles. Good lakeside water access. It is disappointing that there is no latrine provided. A simple pit toilet could be constructed judging by the surrounding terrain.

Got to say I could have had a better experience if where my campground was mapped out for me a little bit better no trails LED there couldn't find the trail if it was to lead there even the horseback rider said they didn't know how to get over there and I had seen seven different horse back riding groups and all of them said there's no way over to the other side of the lake unless it was by boat

It was a beautiful spot in an amazing area. Unfortunately its been ignored for the last three years and the area is in shambles. Former excellent stocked trout lake has no trout, only pan fish. Outhouse on Ironjaw not maintained unhealthy and unusable. The trails are riddled with horse manure making hiking impossible. A gem turned into a sewer hole.
