What Guests Are Saying

Leg Lake Campsites offers a pleasant experience with spacious areas suitable for families to enjoy the lake. However, one reviewer faced issues due to Canadian smoke, making their camping plans impossible, and had difficulty contacting management for a potential refund or rescheduling. Overall, the campsite is appreciated for its remote setting and suitability for group camping.

Got there and someone else was on our site. No service so waited around for and hour and a half then returned home because it was Sunday so no one was in the office. They did get us a full refund for the site but still out all the gas money and fun.

I am only giving poor review because we booked for the weekend the bad Canadian smoke was here. We were unable to go camping and I have been trying since last week to see if we could use the money I paid for another weekend as it was to dangerous to be out. There has been no way to contact anyone. We really wanna do another weekend and hopefully use the money paid for the weekend we couldn't go due to the severe smoke.

This is a great remote campsite. There is plenty of room for a couple of families to set up camp and enjoy the lake.

We camped in site 1 at leg lake. The site is huge, has a primitive toilet which was very clean. Lots of trails going off the site to walk. 4 trails going down to the water to fish. Road going in and out was really good. Only downside is not really good beach spot if your looking to swim. Other then taht it was excellent! Nice and quiet. Hardly any traffic. We were there for 4days and we seen maybe 6 cars and 1 side by side. I am definitely going to go back for sure.

Very large and quiet campsite (#1). We only saw 1 truck go by each. The turtles were nesting at the campsite so we had to be very watchful of them but it was really neat to see.

site 2 with boat launch. Site was pretty busy with people fishing and site is very close to the boat launch. Otherwise nice small lake to kayak and nice camp site itself.
