Many visitors appreciate the spaciousness and seclusion of the campsites, making it ideal for those seeking a rustic getaway. We stayed at site #6. It was a nice location in that it was spacious and we had a nice view of the lake. Of course, you need to be prepared with bug repellant. Our site was next to the boat launching area and the road leading to it, which meant it got a little noisy during the morning and daytime when people come to launch their boats. Also, it was close the the ATV/motorcycle trails, so we heard them riding by and cars driving along the road from time to time. Most other campers at other sites were using RVs while we had a tent. So, I would say this location may be ideal for large vehicles and big groups but could be problematic if you're hoping to have a 100% quiet and secluded getaway.

Always a great time camping here. Did some fall camping, best time for it;)
See they’re doing “improvements” to the campground, hopefully as they’re pulling out the road in gets graded.😳
Hope whoever is the first ones in the site we had enjoys all the firewood we left 😏

We were in site 4. On the plus side, it was semi-private and very scenic. Also the site has an outhouse nearby. On the less positive side, it is not directly on the lakeshore. Also, signage directing you to the sites continues to be an issue.

Stayed at Site 1 and I have absolutely no complaints. Great site with a beautiful view of the water. Private area with lots of trails. Picnic table was like new & the fire rings has a little grill on it. Cell service is spotty but you can get full bars at the store 25mins up the road along with firewood and anything else you may need.

Was a great Memorial Day weekend. Kids went swimming, played catch, and roasted smores. We celebrated a couple Birthdays with some company.

Would be nice to have an outhouse on site 10 where we camp often. Also laying some gravel down like the other campsites would help with the dirt.

2nd visit to Lyman Lake. Campsite #5 exactly as advertised. Huge, clean. Primitive toilet was completely acceptable. Good bluegill fishing from shore and excellent sandy bottom swimming. For extended stay dump station is 25 mins away at Indian Lake SP. Supplies about 15 mins away at Linda’s Bread box. Take a week and enjoy.
