What Guests Are Saying

Mowe Lake Campsites offers a beautiful and private setting, with ample fishing opportunities and wildlife sightings, including beavers and eagles. Guests appreciated the helpful rangers at the nearby forest office and the cleanliness of the facilities. However, logging operations have caused noise disturbances and road conditions may require improvement for campers.

Not a campground, it is a great place to get maps and information on the area. The staff was so helpful and made me feel at home in the forest.

This was just the kind of campsite we are always looking for. Remote, on a nice lake, with only two campsites. The vault toilet was clean and well maintained. Close enough to town if you want to get out and about.

Love this site. However a few four wheelers were using the road in as a trail. Not the kind of privacy we were hoping for.

Boat launch is absolutely awful! Someone can roll an ankle going down to water! And there is no way kids can walk d it a to water without shoes! There are holes where rocks should be and someone is going g to get hurt! Also bathroom needs cleaning

We love the campsite and the lake. A good swimming area is a real plus. Just wish it wasn’t on a lightly used trail that bring a few off road vehicles thru the campsite.
