What Guests Are Saying

Paradise Cove Campground offers a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, with hospitable hosts, beautiful views of Lake Leelanau, and a highly praised tiki bar and restaurant. Many guests appreciate the well-maintained sites, easy boat access, and the welcoming community of fellow campers. However, some reviews mention check-in confusion and maintenance issues that detracted from their experience. Overall, it is recommended for those seeking a quiet getaway in the Traverse City area.

Complete chaos when we tried to sign the cook was trying to send us to site 15 cuz that is what he thought we said and that was not our site at all not one person there even check us in I finally told them that I would figure it out myself by my reservation. The site had not been mowed walking thru weeds the whole weekend, the trash dumpster on the way to the lake was horrible you had to hold your breath walking by, the full hook up to clean out on site 14 was so poorly done that it kept backing up and you had to close the valve and let a little out at a time it was way too high and not a good slope. If you are going to require each site to be full hook up you need to have systems that work. The site was far from level. The whole experience was nothing like the photos that are posted! One star is actually overrated, we will never stay here again. Very disappointed customer!!

Sweet little spot to park our RV! Very hospitable hosts, a quiet place with a lake and docks, and a great tiki-styled restaurant with perfect burgers. Highly recommended!

This is the 2nd Year we’ve stayed with Paradise Cove and it is the best experience. Wonderful people, quiet campground, best hometown experience in Traverse City! The Tiki Bar on Lake Leelanau is amazing as well! If you want to delve into the hometown traverse experience, I highly recommend staying here!

Very quiet and peaceful campground right on lake Leelanau. I have a seasonal site. Great neighbors mostly traveling nurses. and wonderful host Todd! Todd and his family run the campground and the infamous tiki bar, restaurant and marina. Perfect place to have a burger and a beer, with the best views of the lake.
Todd was extremely helpful when I was getting my camper set up and was very transparent from the start as to what to expect here at Paradise Cove. ( need to be self contained as there are no restrooms.)
Would definitely recommend this spot if you’re coming to the Leelanau peninsula.. it’s the perfect place for me. Close to Traverse City, and all the little towns on the peninsula. Cedar, Glen Arbor, Sutton’s Bay, Leland, and Northport.

Todd (The Host) is the best! He's extremely accommodating, great communication, relaxed and understanding. Got us all setup in a beautiful spot and answered any questions that popped up.

The RV Resort itself is wonderful as well. Located practically on South Lake Leelanau, the sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous, super easy boat access to go and cruise around a gorgeous lake, and full hookups (water and sewer) with 20amp + 50amp plugs. We had Site 11 which was perfectly level, easy to back in our 30' trailer, and had plenty of room to park out car, have a fire, and hangout outside of the trailer.

Grass was always thick and freshly mowed, weeds kept to a minimum, and the neighbors are so friendly and kind.

We have a dog and he absolutely loved it here! Lots of other quiet dogs around that he got to play with and he had a fun time staring at them through the trailer windows haha.

Price is unbeatable in this area, for both day rate and seasonal. Especially in the summertime EVERYTHING is booked full from mid June to the end of July, Todd was able to take care of us on short notice and we heard the same from other campers as well. Truly a hidden Paradise here! ❤️

10/10 Lovely place to be. So thankful to Todd, his family, and the neighbors here for making this a wonderful experience 🙌🏽
