Absolutely LOVED our time at PBL! Our kids are 6, 4 & 1. The older two LOVED the rides, little one got in on the carousel & train ride. $28 seems expensive but it’s totally worth it, for the right ages. There’s a handful of rides adults can do if that’s your thing but both my husband and I felt sick/nauseous after the (rickety) rides (when we had to accompany kid/s for height requirements), otherwise we would not have done rides—with that said that rides are essentially vintage—so nostalgic and we felt like we were in a different era, in a good and fun way! Reed & Dale are fun and super kind, Ally was very helpful at the slide, along with all of the other workers—SO NICE! Bring cash & change if you want to feed the goats, candy/ice cream shop is cash only, snack bar near train is credit or cash — which brings me to my next gentle comment, it wasn’t the worse thing in the world, but there’s a sign at the train ride that says the train runs every 15 minutes—we (somehow managed) to wait 30 mins!!!—with no one showing up to do the train, so I kindly asked the snack shop worker if the conductor would be coming, she goes, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” Argh! We were waiting an entire 30 mins with no customers at the snack shop—in my head this gal could have stepped away to give us our train ride, especially since the sign said every 15 mins and it has already been 30! At any rate, the kids managed to wait and we got the train ride and it was worth the wait! All in all, PBL is excellent for the right ages!
PS- Zipline included in price!
PSS- right when you walk in, Paul will say hi. The speaker is a little fuzzy/a little hard to hear and slightly spooky for some kids!!
All in all, PBL is a must go!!!

We've been waiting to visit until our kids got older. To be honest it was very underwhelming. I will say that due to it being underwhelming it's not busy and lines to ride rides doesn't exist. The staff was great and super friendly, we rode the rides multiple times but after about 3 hours we were done. Given the almost $28/person fee it's a place you can visit quickly. The ferris wheel is scary fast.

Had so much fun at Paul Bunyan Land. My 8 year old daughter thought some of the rides were too "kid like" but she had a blast on all of them. Including the ziplne. And always great to see and talk to Paul himself. He was great interacting with, very sweet and kind. It was a fun experience to experience again with children. Not much has changed in 30 some years when I was there last.

Amazing, iconic, and incredible experience!! I mean if you are into over priced, over crowded places then this won't be your vibe. For my family it was a life time and generational memory. We went the Tuesday after Memorial Day and it was like a fairytale. Felt like a dozen families had the place to themselves. Despite the place not being packed, the staff from the moment you walk in to the movement you leave is INCREDIBLE!! Hands on with the kiddos, walking from ride to ride like they were in charge of the place. Dale on the Hopper as a ride attendant is a must see! Such a great affordable family day....this included the snacks and souvenir shop. Such a diamond in the rough of unaffordable places in this world. This was great.... and I can't wait to try the fall experience.
