We go there every year for a family reunion. Its one of the few places where you can camp almost to the water's edge. I have a 5th wheel, my brother tent camps. I was sorry to learn that the Forest Service is soon going to make this campground a walk-in only site. There are other campgrounds in the area but are some distance from the lake.

I love the Cass Lake Loop. It is my very favorite of all the camp grounds I have ever stayed at. I heard roomer that you were going to make it a walk-in only. If this happens, I will be very sad and even cry. Please leave the campground the way it is. It is perfect in every way!! The fishing is awesome!
Thank you for listening.

My experience at Cass Lake Loop for the last 30 years has been fabulous!! However because the idiots at the Forest Service decided to redo the campground last fall, I am unable to enjoy the beautiful place anymore. They closed off the campground to RV's & made it a walk-in (carry everything in-tents, gear, etc.) ONLY!!!
