The campground and site was great. Beautiful place. Very clean. However the campsite numbering system was very mixed up. The site numbers were not in the proper order. One row would be 1-25 the next row would be 65-95. You may want to print the campground map.
It would be helpful when you drive in, if there would be a sign pointing to the fresh water/dump station and what direction to go to your site.

I’ve been camping at the Crosslake Campground for almost 40 years. They have maintained the grounds of this facility wonderfully over the years and continue to do so. New this year were the campers who decided to rent campsites in the non-electric campsite area and ran their gas powered generators all night long. If you want to power your camper or trailer or have electricity in your tent, pay the extra 6 dollars and get the electric campsite. Those of us in tents want to hear the loons on the lake, not your lawn mower engine powering the tv and toaster at the campsite next door.

Campground kept very clean. Rangers keep an eye on campers and keep a consistent environment. Reservations very difficult to obtain. There was some talk that thefts were taking place where campers are allowed to store their boats near the boat ramps. Non campers allowed to use the launch free during Covid...could this be contributing to the theft problems?
