A very nice park. We stayed earlier this year on the older (?) side in a double site: a story for another time.
When we went to check in, the hosts thought our site might not work for slide outs on both sides, so they suggested we might change to the site next to them. I tried to call the number to change the site, but the message said there would be a 65 minute wait to speak with someone. One of the hosts drove me to the ranger station where the ranger on duty (Shawn) was able to switch our site in minutes. In hind site, there were other sites open that I would have chosen, but we did not know what was open at the time.
The hosts were awesome making a suggestion we take our map and circle sites that might be more to our liking and fit our needs better in the future.
Bonus for the site we got, it had a water hookup. The only 2 negatives were the signage for the north entrance and the dump station on that side of the campground. We missed the sign and ended up driving many miles to find a good place to turn around. The dump station on the northern campground only had a water tank, so it wasn’t optimal to rinse out our black tank. Next time we will go to the south campground to dump.
Will we return? YES!

It was very nice and quiet with our dog too! The facilities are good with the back bath house which is newer than the older front bath house which needs updating really bad! Camp grounds are well maintained and the dump stations are great to use before you leave!

I want to make sure I can come back and get a great site, so don’t come here. Go to other COE campgrounds. This campground is great for me so don’t come here. Go to Lake Winnie, Gull lake or Pokegama you will love those campgrounds. Can’t recommend it because you will love it as much as I do.
