Each year I have more fun than the last. So much to do in the community if you don’t have a boat. Don’t bother coming up here so I can get my favorite campsite. You’ll probably hate it so don’t come to Crosslake. If you do come up, support the local restaurants. Excellent!

This was the second time I stayed at this facility. The location is right off the main drag, yet hidden, and right on Cross Lake. The sites are wooded with space between you and your neighbor. The bathrooms/showers are clean and functional - they aren't designer pretty, but are nice.

Our stay was very pleasant. We had trouble checking in when we arrived as we didn't realize that all sites are only available by reservation only. We arrived on a Tuesday and even though there were plenty of campsites available, you still needed to go online and reserve a site before you could check in. A Park Ranger happened to be by the office at the time we were trying to figure out what to do. Aaron, was so very helpful and walked us through the rec.gov website to make a reservation. We really appreciated how he went out of his way to help us get a site! A big thank you to Aaron!

Every COE campground we’ve been to have been great but this one is #1. Great location, on the water, fantastic new docking facilities, nice spacious sites and great hosts. Can’t say enough.

To many trees lining the roads which makes it very hard to back into alot of your sights.
Cut some of them down and get rid of the stumps along the roads also.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease. Closure* The Campground will close 15-OCT-2026 for the remainder of the season. This includes all dump stations, all restrooms, and water spigots. At this time, the main boat ramp is expected to remain available throughout October. |
