I wasn't aware that we were able to use "Disabled Veteran" or one of the "America the Beautiful" passes to get a discount on camping. The person checking me in mentioned this and I then spent DAYS trying to logon to the website to make this happen. But... never did get it to work properly and the person at the office said I could not do it in person. Oh well, lesson learned.
Overall, we enjoyed the campground a lot - spacious sites and great views of the lakes.
This was our first time staying at an Army Corp of Engineering place and we look forward to doing it again!

The site was clean and spacious. It does not feel crowded here. Plenty of trees. Nice clean picnic table. Large fire ring.
Clean toilet facilities. Nice paved roads, little traffic, safe for kids to ride bikes. Great little beach and swimming area. Nice playground.
Staff were great with little kids ranger activities.
Close to some tourist stuff... Mini golf, ice cream, great restaurants.
We come here every year and always enjoy it.

This campground definitely lived up to the hype. We were in site 75 and we enjoyed our stay. All amenities were very nice. Since this is a very popular destination, one must plan ahead to get a reservation.

Beautiful campground. Well taken care of. It’s popular so you have to book ahead for summer months. I tent camp so I appreciate not having to listen to RV generators. It was pretty quiet this visit. People seemed to respect quiet hours. My campsite was next to volleyball court. So some noise until it got dark. This site was surrounded by trees which made it private.
