This is by far my most favorite campground of all time! This was our first time and it wasn't all that crowded and the trees were beautiful. Our limited interactions (because of Covid) with the park employees was always positive! We will be back!

Been coming to Crosslake campgrounds for at least 25 years, and by far it’s my favorite place in MN! Cozy, clean & very friendly, helpful staff. Obviously, everyone else loves it too, cause it’s really hard to find an available site to reserve.

The campground was nice enough, but not much privacy. We had one neighbor running their generator 24/7 and the other neighbors being quite loud until late in the evening. Luckily it was chilly out so we closed our camper windows and put the fan on which drowned out the noise. I felt bad for the people around the corner who were sleeping in tents. Also, if you stay in sites near the road you can hear the traffic (this campground is right in town). It just wasn't my type of campground. The beaches seemed nice, but we didn't swim as it was late September. One plus is that you can walk/bike into town so if you're going there during the Cross Lake Days it's convenient.

Large and clean campsites. Quiet campground right in town and close to activities, restaurants and all the lakes.

The campsites are large and beautiful with plenty of Norway and Oak trees with the lake adding to a scenic setting. All the volunteers and workers are wonderful and helpful. Love this area!

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease.
