Campgrounds and facilities are very clean. Staff are very helpful. The location of this campground in proximity to Cross Lake (just across the street), Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point and Nisswa. The biggest problem is that it is in high demand and requires booking exactly 6 months before your camping date.

We stayed at Cross Lake in September It was a beautiful weather weekend. Campground was only 1/2 full. The sunsets at the boat ramp in the evening are spectacular!

Camped there on a frosty but fun weekend. There was a local fair that weekend and activities at the campground were also part of the fun.

Our location was perfect close to the beach and playground. The two shower houses were clean with hot water. The biggest nuisance was the chipmunks. They get into everything and run under your tent and in your car engine.

Definitely enjoyed our time here. It was pretty busy but a perfect time of year. Enjoyed having some drinks around the fire and playing outdoor games. The environment was nice and not too open which gave enough privacy.
