As usual we love going to Crosslake, but the maintenance this year seemed to be lacking. The grass in our site was knee high and hadn’t been cut in weeks. I had to ask for it to cut, which they then promptly did. We noticed similar uncut sites throughout the campsite. Appeared that the volunteers were the ones cutting the grass, where in the past we think it was contracted out. Guessing budget cuts, but certainly cutting the grass doesn’t seem like a priority.

Lots to do in town and at a community park. The fishing is good too. We biked around the lake on the Paul Bunyan trail.
