We used a 25 ft Class C Motorhome and stayed in site #5 on 10-3-21. There was electric on site, no water. Water was easily available close by. The sites are not on top of each other and have plenty of room. There was decent walking for us and our dog. We enjoyed our stay and intend to stay here again.

Over all campground was clean, sites are large with mature trees. Showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Vaulted toilet house was very dirty and smelled terrible!
Because of the drought river and dam was low, but still pretty! If you are looking for hiking this campground is not for you!

From Deer River, Minnesota, take Highway 2 west for one mile. Turn right on Highway 46 and go 12 miles. Turn left on Itasca County 9 and continue 2 miles, then turn left at signs and follow to the campground.
