Winnie Dam Campground is a well-maintained and clean facility with spacious sites, friendly hosts, and excellent amenities such as clean bathrooms and hot showers. It is particularly popular among fishermen, who enjoy both the river and lake access. This was our 1st time being at this park. Spaces were of good size and well maintained.
I was doing some fishing and there was a good boat landing near by. The catching of
walleyes was a bit sparse when we were there how ever. My wife and I had a good stay

Quiet, clean, well spaced sites. Picnic area with fishing, boat launch & dam all within walking distance. We will be back!

The COE Campground at The Lake Winnie Dam is one of the nicer campgrounds Iβve stayed at during my full-time travels around the U.S. Itβs close to some outstanding recreation areas, especially water sports. The campsites are nicely spaced so you have privacy and the grounds are well maintained. My site was perfectly level and the smell of the pines made for a memorable north woods experience. There are plenty of sights to see nearby and you absolutely have to stop by the Gosh Dam Bar nearby for a really good meal and great atmosphere. This is a pretty small campground with plenty of amenities. I highly recommend it.

A little buggy but to be expected. The sites are large and not crowded. Only down side is the host was not around all too much. Very clean camp ground.

Nice large sites. Some sites are close to the road so you hear the traffic, but otherwise it is a quiet campground. Definitely will camp there again.

Need to buy firewood off site but itβs a very nice campground. Visit the Lost Forty.

The overall experience was excellent. The campground and the area surrounding it are great places to relax and enjoy nature. The sites are nicely spaced from each other and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. If you are looking for the best sites, look to the side away from the road. We had site 17, which was a great spot, except it is about 50' from the road. People are up early going fishing and the truck noise is a little louder than ideal. Nothing terrible, just know that the sites along the road are pretty close to it.
