Awesome site, the only negative thing is the steps getting down to the site were pretty tall. Tough carrying supplies up and down.

Beautiful campground with amazing views. Right on the border of the BWCA.

Big campsite. More privacy than some of the others! There is a short trail downhill to the lake where a small stream connects two small parts of the lake. Good fishing right off shore. Caught a few pike and few smallmouth and had a nice fish fry. If you travel across the river you can find a short trail that will take you to the cliffs overlooking the lake and streams. Great view. Good places to set up a hammock as well

Beautiful campground. Privacy for many of the sites. Several have dedicated spigot at the site for a water source. Well worth the drive

Nice site right by the lake shore. Very close to the other site though. Not much privacy

Wonderful campground. One of our all time favorite spots. We had Site 20 one of our suggestions would be to mark the portage. We had a lot of traffic through our campsite. Even moving our equipment.

This campground is beautiful! Site 024 is a very spacious site overlooking the water. However there is little privacy from the neighboring site. Camp host was friendly and neighbors were quiet.

Incredible view - nothing like the Northwoods.
Campground was clean & quiet. Very respectful people of the NFS campground. Thank you!

Beautiful at every turn, very clean, and quiet. There are hikes galore, the swimming is perfect, and the canoe outfitters nearby are super nice with fabulous equipment and suggestions. We highly recommend going to Chik-Wauk Museum and visiting the museum and hiking Blueberry Hill.
