We went for a night walk to look at the stars. We heard a pack of coyotes yipping and screaming and a strange sounding owl. Then, we heard a weird roar and everything went silent! No more coyotes or owl. Zero sound. Then, we heard what sounded like footsteps in the snow about 75 yards away. Didn't see anything, but I think bigfoot showed up :) Creepy, but intriguing. The cabin was super cute, clean and comfy. We loved watching the forest wake up through the big glass window. Bed was super comfy.

Super cute little tiny home, but tiny is the key word. I was expecting a bit more of a "living space" to sit other than a wooden bench and wooden chair. They provide lots of snacks and some water. I recommend bringing more of your own water. We for some reason also thought there would be an oven and weren't prepared for just a stove top, but that was our fault. It is great if your goal is glamping. Our showers were not warm - we even waited a long time in between showers. We still had lots of fun. the smores kits were delicious. A great place to unplug with no tv or wifi. We saw plenty of dear walk by each morning.

We just came back from a weekend getaway. Super cute & cozy. Was -4 and was still warm. They kept in contact with us to see if we needed extra supplies. They do provide tin foil & some cooking supplies. No spatula. Small 3x5 mirror included
Would recommend bringing a blanket, hair dryer ( if you need one ), tissues, and games
Was a nice get away

Absolutely fantastic stay - truly feel like you’re just alone in the woods, and the place has everything you need to feel comfortable. We stayed for a weekend and brought our own food to cook, and the supplied kitchen tools were just perfect - everything thoughtfully chosen. (Even a wine opener!) We visited in November and the heat was plenty warm. Not sure if this will change, but currently the daily fee includes all of the goodies (wood, fire starters, coffee, snacks, etc.) and they come by daily (announced via text) to restock. So, no worries about using all your firewood in a night if you’re staying for a few nights. The water heater is definitely small and the recommendation is to wait between showers - no problem since it’s not like we’re on a schedule! A few things we brought that were nice to have: a few extra towels for drying, a box of tissues, campfire cooking things if you want to cook over the fire (they provide sticks for marshmallows but we brought pie irons). Storage in the cabin is tight but manageable - our luggage just fit in the cubby, and there’s built in storage for the games we brought. Absolutely will be returning!

We had a great time at the Postcard Cabins. The area is quiet and beautiful, especially with the fall colors. We had issues with our cabin the first night (terrible sewer smell) but the manager was very responsive and helpful. She came out late at night to try and fix it and the next day they moved us to a new cabin. They also refunded our entire stay! The cabins themselves are simple but gorgeous with stunning picture windows. It makes you feel like you're sleeping in the aspen trees. They also provided firewood and cute s'mores kits for a bonfire under the stars. We'll be back!
