Love this place. It is normally peaceful and that makes for a great stay. There is a trail around the lake on which we enjoy riding our bikes. Cell coverage is weak but with my Verizon we could stream without a lot of problems. I guess the only issue I have is with the folks they have contracted to mow the grass. The last few times I have stayed here the grass has been up way too high. I also watched a guy mow the grass next to my campsite; you couldn't tell he had cut it. I said something about it and with a slight attitude, he trimmed it again and did it right. Campers shouldn't have to ask the folks mowing to do it again.

Camp Host was great. Was able to shift sites when the one I selected was too short due to concrete picnic table.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at in over 6 years and more than 25k miles of camping. It's clean, sites are well placed, the grounds are beautiful.

Very nice park. Three things would have made it a great park. 1. sewer hook ups. 2. The grass needed cutting. 3. It would be nice to have the park open year round. The park hosts did a great job checking on the campers and making sure the sites were clean and ready for the next people.

The campground is beautiful. The 3 rating is because the camp host was rarely at the campground.
When he was there he would leave 3 small dogs outside barking and they could be heard throughout the campground and inside our 5th wheel. The bathrooms had a lot of spider webs inside and some dead bugs that were there the entire time we were staying there. Also the 50amp outlet had a ground fault on it so we had to use the 30amp outlet for our stay.

Small quiet campground. Most sites have plenty of shade and generous space.
Very nice friendly host and friendly regular campers.
Only down side is is no showers. They have shower facilities, but the water is off.
Otherwise, best Mississippi State Park I have experienced.
