Very friendly staff. Excellent campground. I arrived the first day after dark because of weather and poor Google map directions.
But I enjoyed the stay and already making plans to return.

The park was very clean. The camp sites are fairly level so getting your rig level is not a big deal. The staff is helpful and courteous. Overall experience was great, the days that we went was pretty hot, thank goodness for air conditioning.

The electricity and water were great and the cites were level. The cell service was very good and most of the cites were shady.

We have been coming to Twittly branch campground for years, and this place holds so many wonderful memories for our family. We brought our children and grandchildren here, and we have enjoyed many special times together. That is why it is so hard to see the campground declining.
I want to be clear that the people who work here have been great. They are friendly and helpful and we have never had a problem with them. My concerns are with the campground itself.
Each time we come it seems to be getting worse. There are trees falling everywhere, and the campground is starting to look really run down, the roads are crumbling and the bathhouses are falling apart . It is so disappointing to see a place that has meant so much to our family not being kept up like it used to to be. We love coming here and would like to continue making memories with our family. I truly hope the campground gets the attention and upkeep it needs so desperately.
Please yall take care of Twittly branch like you use to. We want to keep coming back and enjoying this special place for many more years.

Getting There
From Meridian, MS, take SR 19 N for 8 mi and follow signs into the
campground.
Highway access
The campground is accessible via SR 19, which connects to I-20 approximately 10 miles to the south in Meridian.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Gatehouse hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with visiting hours until 9:30 p.m.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Firewood must be bought locally and burned on-site to protect forests.
