What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

Over all had a great time.
The camp grounds was nice and clean, the only complaint is the staff could have cleaned out the grills and fire pits better
Other than that issues the grounds was level and plenty of parking
Definitely we will be back

Our go to campground for spring break! It’s always nicely kept, clean bathrooms and awesome camp hosts. Was glad to see the rangers patrolling more than the last few times we were there. Can’t get much better than Persimmon Hill!
