Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this Mississippi Corps of Engineers site. You have to come here and experience it for yourself. My only regret is that we didn’t stay here for an entire week!

This was our first trip to Persimmon Hill and we really enjoyed it. Camping spaces were large and level. Have to give kudos to whoever designed the layout because it seems they really understood how to design a RV campground.

Very nice campground. Well maintained tables, grills, and fire pits. All sites are level and many have a lakeside view.

Persimmon Hill was an excellent place to stay. The sites were well maintained, and the hookups worked great. The campers were friendly; I walked my dog after dark without any sense of unease. We will return soon.

This is a great campsite. I do not like the new rule of no FF sites, forcing us to make reservations for an overnight stay.

The campgrounds are always well kept and the grandkids love the playground. The lake view and trees are beautiful and it is a short drive to Batesville for restaurants and supplies. We love coming to Persimmon Hill.

This was a clean really well laid out park. The walk back into the woods to see the waterfall is beautiful.

Very clean and well kept grounds. The concrete pad is so good I didn't need to level the RV at all. It's a great place to stay .
