What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

We camp here every year. It’s always a pleasure other than the random rowdy kids or adults listening to music too loud.

The campground is well kept and we love getting a site on the water's edge. This is our favorite place to camp near the Memphis metro area!

We used this stop as a two (2) night lay over on are trip to the Gulf.
Just off Interstate I-55.
Very clean, great concrete pads with full hook ups.
Just make sure you make reservations.

The campground is very nice and clean as well as the bath houses. This is a very kid friendly campground with a nice playground and walking trail. The Fish hatchery is a great place to visit.

Beautiful park. Strange that there is no check in or tags on sites, but worked out fine for us. Bathrooms were clean. Quiet park and generously sized sites. Sites along water had easy view of sky for our starlink.
