What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

We always enjoy our stay here. Never experienced a bad stay so far. Very relaxed, peaceful and friendly people, in my opinion. We usually reserve sites 1-10. They are not on the water’s edge and have a little more privacy. Our preference. The tall pines makes it somewhat difficult to get a strong signal for satellite tv connections but a decent coverage for phone service. It acceptable for us. Great weekend get away area.
