I love this campground at Enid Lake. The two camp grounds where I have stayed, Persimmon Hill and Wallace Creek, are excellent. The Host at both are friendly and very helpful I can't give enough praise for Lisa (I believe that's her name) at Persimmon Hill. She goes out of her way to be helpful!

we always enjoy our trips to Enid lake. this particular visit was different. neighbor backed over his sites power unit when backing in. not only did he knock out his power, but our site when out as well. Our camp host Lisa and her hubby were helpful in letting us move to the site next door for the night, her hubby helped my hubby move our trailer. since we had no idea when repairs would be finished, we were able to move to a site, that was available thru the duration of our stay. Lisa was able to switch our reservation over to the new site, with out any problems. Thank you so much for our hosts hard work

1st time camping at Persimmon Hill. Kid friendly. Me and my granddaughter had a girls weekend over her fall break. She made lots of friends. Super nice clean safe campground. It has a big playground. And a paved walking/bike trail. Campground is flat so easy to ride bikes. Water view at almost every site.

Persimmon Hill idea our favorite campground in this part of Mississippi. We love the tall pines, the spacious sites and the lake view below. Sites are level with room to spare.

3 stars. It has potential.
The water was really low so fishing from the bank was unsuccessful - no fault of the park but mother nature.
It's a nice and beautiful campground with level concreted spots and also has a dump at each site which is a plus.
There are a few things I would change, though. 1. Have firewood available for campers to purchases. 2. Put trash dumps closer to the campsites. Had to hold on to all our trash until we left because we didn't bring a vehicle. The dumpsters are way up toward the gate. 3. Cut grass at the camp site. Our grass was high.
