What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Clean and well maintained. Beautiful lake view. Unfortunately my spot had no shade but there are many there with plenty of cover.

had issue with someone still on our site. No camp hosts around to help. When the camp hosts are around rarely to they stop and speak and most of the time you are ignored.
