We always enjoy staying at Wallace Creek. It's a beautiful well-kept campground with large well-spaced sites and reliable hookups. Our particular site this time, 14, was not level. It slopes front to back.

Wallace Creek is our favorite camping spot. So many great camping sites and all camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. One camp host in particular goes out of her way and that is Tommie. We attempt to get a camp site near her because of her helpfulness at any time. Always has time for the campers staying at the campground.

We camp at Enid Lake several times a year. The last few time we have camped have been disappointing. The grass hasn’t been cut around the camping areas, the air in one of the shower houses wasn’t working and the shower heads could stand to be replaced.

Great spot, good shade, we love this campground! There’s a small store up the road, and if you need something they don’t have you’re fairly close to the interstate to run 20 mins up the road to batesville

We were at Wallace Creek during the July 4th holiday. Positives: the rangers made regular rounds, the cove was quiet and close to the lake. Negatives: the lot we booked stated it had shade, there was no shade on this lot. The bathroom and shower closest to our camp area did not have the A/C turned on so it was like taking a shower in a sauna. We did finally find a shower and restroom with the A/C on. The bathrooms in our cove were not cleaned regularly.

Our entire crew came home with chiggers some worse than others

- A large picnic shelter can be reserved for $50/day
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Must have reservation before camping.
- America Beautiful Senior and Access card holder has to be present when card is used.
- No Pets in buildings.
