Enjoyed camping at Wallace Creek. Wish I would have picked another weekend that was warmer but, still enjoyed!! The bathroom that was across from our site #72 was very well kept and supplied with paper! That is a big plus!!

Site 28 is beautiful site with great views of the lake. Park is clean and host are nice. The only negative and is a big negative with me is the bright lights that are around the park.

Beautiful, beautiful place. We got a site overlooking the water in early March. Huge sites and few people. Very rare to find a federal place with full hookups. The camp hosts are wonderful - friendly, informative and so welcoming. We can't wait to go back for more than an overnight!

This was our favorite campground in the area. We frequent CORP parks to enjoy the camping experience you get from the beautiful surroundings and darkness from the lack of bright resort type campgrounds. We are full time RV'ers that try to stay at only CORP or State parks and have been to Wallace creek several times. We were very disappointed to see that they install very bright lightbulbs on the few lights they had that makes it very difficult to sleep at night with windows open or even enjoy a fire a night without feeling like someone has their high beams on. This is the only project that we've had this problem at and we've stay CORP parks all over the eastern side of the country. I hope this park goes at least back the way it was. If they're having a crime problem then put p gates.

Wonderful park and clean spots! Hosts make rounds in golf carts. Very helpful and know the area. The beach was closed so didn't get to see this area. Boat ramp area was busy but plenty of parking. No laundry facilities at this park.
