This site is directly across from the bathhouse and the street light! I camped in a popup and it was almost like sleeping in plain daylight. Someone staying in a bigger rig may not have problems with it. The picnic table is also down a hill and I happened not to have a long enough extension cord to reach that far so I did not utilize the picnic table except while grilling.

Wallace creek has always been a great place to camp. The camp hosts are some of the nicest people you will meet. They are always willing to help. One item that could be approved on would be the constant parking in “no parking”areas along the main camp roads. Recent visit there was truck and boat trailer parked on grassy area off the road by spot 30. This can add driving hazards to those pulling longer campers or big rig motorhomes. Plus if it rains a lot it could start to have tire ruts in that space.

Site 41 was perfect. It is a pull thru spot with lake views and just down the hill next it, you can get to a little beach area. Our dog loved being able to swim right there! Also, the site was very large, plenty of space. The only negative, was the bathroom. They did not feel clean. Other than that, we will definitely come back.
