Such a beautiful and relaxing place! Mississippi is our home state and I have never been more proud of our beautiful state! Nice large spots with FULL hookups! We plan to return.

This is a very nice, well-kept campground. Has full hookups including sewer. Nice short hiking trail, playgrounds, and swimming areas. Several sites have a beautiful view of Enid Lake.

#61 site . We've stayed at oter site and have always enjoyed the friendly rangers and staff. BUT if you stay at this site #61 Bring +40 feet of sewer line and leveling blocks downhill. The fire pit is down a hill but in a quiet area, fun for smores!

Plenty of space between sites, clean and neat. Our site had full-hookups, no issues. As far as TV access, over the air scan produced many channels, however, depending on the location of your site, satellite TV may be an issue as there are tons of trees. We pulled to the front end of our site (#6) in order to get a signal peaking thru the trees. Nice concrete picnic tables. Sites 27 and 29 are probably the best for a view of the lake. We stayed in two sites on two different occasions, did not have a satellite issue on site 29. We drove around Persimmon Hill and while it is nice, the Wallace Creek-Piney Woods sites are more spacious between sites and is a quieter area. Either is good but we prefer Piney Woods area. Batesville is about 15-20 miles away which has Walmart and other usual shopping and eating places.

Very clean, quiet campground. New pavilion & playground for campers in Piney Woods is very nice. Camp host Tommye is wonderful.
