The water was not accessible as there is a lot of disrepair around the docks and beach. The site was clean and the hook ups were working. The attendant was helpful. Overall the park was nice and we enjoyed our time.

Beautiful little park right on the Tennessee-Tombigbee River. In its day I’m sure it was even better. The park was clean, the hosts friendly, helpful and accommodating but the park is in need of updating and repairs. The trails, which were once lighted and paved are dark and cracked. The long fishing pier is difficult to get to and has warped boards, the Historical Center - a beautiful, very large facility was closed and is starting to look really run down. It is ashamed to have a park at this location in such poor shape.

We have stayed at Whitten several times, it's always been a great stay.
This is normally our go to campground. It's always quiet, very peaceful and serene.
We will definitely stay again.

We had rain all night so it was hard to get out to see much but, the sites were large and spread apart. Hiking down to the lake was not well defined. Trees could use some trimming.

Very nice park and affordable. The boardwalks and docks in needs of some repair, but we enjoyed the stay.

A majority of the sites are mostly shaded but they have some weeds growing and the beach is completely overgrown. Could be a really great place with a little work. The staff were all great.

the park is nice and wooded and pretty quiet giving the size and the people there. The site we were at was a shared drive with two other sites not bad but was a tight fit backing in our 30 towable. the restrooms were clean and the site was clean and leveling was good.
