I love the Whitten campground. But their needs to be more activities for the kids. and some wi-fi
would be nice. The grounds need some clearing out some. Too many trees on the ground.
But it is quite and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I'm very sad that the campground seems so neglected. The steps to the swimming area need to be replaced, but especially the gazebo/pavilion is just falling into disrepair. The pavilion has been so nice, and I'm sure cost a lot to build. It has a large hole in the roof which seems to need complete replacement. This is a wonderful place to vacation, nut is only getting the most basic upkeep.

Very nice park and campground. Getting in and out of camp sites is very easy. There is plenty of room between sites also. Most are very shaded. Electric service is good with no issues and water pressure is excellent. We only dealt with the lady that checked us in and she was very pleasant and helpful and offered to help in any way we needed. There had apparently been a recent storm as there was debris all over the campground and we only saw one person with a blower on a single day trying to clean up our loop. We were on site 52 which had access to what was an old beach area that is now grown over and the walkway and steps to it are either in desperate need of repair or dismantling. The bath houses were very clean and we felt very safe in the campground. It was so very quiet. We will definitely stay here again when on the area.

Nice level pull through site. Has nice docks and fishing piers at the campground. We did not use the bathhouse while we were there so could not comment on that. We have a 40 ft fifth wheel and did not have any problems accessing the site.
We would stay here again.

Enjoy our time together. Would be nice if you all could install a couple of fans in the bathrooms. Also, you all need to replace the white nose at the dump station. Maybe you could get a volunteer group to fix the trails they are in terrible shape. Otherwise, we enjoy are time at the park and will be back to visit again.

Well spaced level sites in beautiful location. We were in #11 which was well shaded and directly on the water.
As nice as the location is, the bath house was typical of most ACE facilities…functional but sorely in need of a facelift.

This is a nice park. Many of the sites are smaller in nature, so be careful to pick a site big enough for your rig, if you have a larger one. Several of the structures were run down and needed refurbishing. We did not use the bath houses, so I cannot comment on those. The underbrush was quite overgrown, and the park would be much better if it was cleaned out some.

Great location, plenty of shade at our site, bath house was acceptable, biggest negative was an ant invasion on day 2, after some work we got them under control but be ready if you camp here during the summer. Overall, will camp here again.

The people at this park were really helpful. My husband had a medical emergency that required surgery. Eric, the Game Warden, was was so helpful in getting our stay extended until I could get help with our rig.
Restrooms were clean although dated. We ended up staying through the 4th of July week and even though it was busy, everything was nice.
The campsites were clean, but there was too much overgrowth close. Poison Ivy was everywhere.
Fishing docks were in good repair and well lit for nighttime strolls. We were disappointed the swimming area was closed and overgrown.
For a restful quiet get away, this was a great place to go.
