Whitten Park is praised for its helpful staff, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The park offers beautiful views, well-maintained restrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing getaway. The campground is fantastic. Very well maintained. Bathhouse are very clean. Lots of things to do. Walking paths, fishing, boating. Lots of access to the river. The nights were very quiet. There is shopping and restdraunts within a few miles...perfect place for a week or just an overnight stay.

We were given many recommendations (as we are new campers) for this particular Park. We live less than 25 mi from this Park, but when we're here it's like we're in a whole different world! Plus, our grandchildren live locally to the Park and gives us even more opportunities to spend time with them in a different dynamic.
The daily rate makes it VERY POSSIBLE to come repeatedly without breaking the bank!
☆☆☆☆☆ FIVE STARS!!!
