What Guests Are Saying
Whitten Park is praised for its helpful staff, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The park offers beautiful views, well-maintained restrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Some areas, such as the swimming beach and fishing piers, require maintenance, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

The most helpful were the couple at the Gate, as well as Park rangers. Both were so Sweet and had very helpful information.

Great overnight stay. The campsite was great and the attendants were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant in Fulton to top the day.

Peaceful place all but the one night of loud late night music at the place beside it where the boats are stationed but that part couldn’t be helped nor controlled by the park. However the trails going to the beach alone with the beach itself needs a lot of attention!!! If that was done that would make it an amazing place and best place to camp ! But my opinion over all great place but the beach and the trails to the beach need that resolved ….Thanks for the stay and very very welcoming park attendants
