Park was great. Recreation.gov not so. Have been trying to make reservations for days for Whitten Park and I am well within the 180 days but unable to reserve

Whitten park is nice and peaceful! We never have issues when staying here. The park managers are super sweet and will sit and talk. They resolve any issues that we may have!

Site 25 is good for camping or RVs that are shorter/higher clearance. We exited and entered without issues in a 24’ long ClassB. Site 26 is much steeper. The area was beautiful and everything was relatively clean. Worth a visit.

Whitten has one of the best walking trails. The sunsets over the river are gorgeous.

Prefer the old way of having some first come first serve sites that can not be reserved. Prefer to pay cash on property. Plumbing problems in Women rest room in loop 3 near site 46. Handicap shower not working properly. No hot water
