Love's RV Hookup-Gulfport MS 595

We have stopped at several Love’s RV hookups, this is the first without a sewer hookup. They do have a dump station but the location makes it difficult to use. If anyone used it we would be blocked in our site until they finished. You would think the site would cost a little less than others with full hookup but it was the most expensive. At 7AM a worker came out and started edging the area around the campers with a noisy edger. This is the first Loves RV hookup I have not given 5 stars. I can’t recommend this location, but other locations have been great.

These RV spots are right at entrance so it’s a bit noisy. Only downfall is no personal dump hookups. Dog park is right next to spots which makes it convenient if you have pets. Spot 4 does have a tree hangover so if you’re tall, watch that. The store manager Aubrey did accommodate us when we ran into an issue with a tire on our truck allowing us to stay just a hair longer while we got the tire fixed.

Sewer dump station is separate from the site, so manage your use accordingly. You can shower inside with a short wait time. $10 through the reservation. (Can you shower each time at $10 or just once?)
Water pump/handle could use some grease to ease it open. You have to pull down on the ring where water comes out to reroute water to the hose.
I didn't bring my dogs, but the park is well maintained and clean...other than bad humans. The 3 parking spots by the dog park are shaded but we're taken up by people apparently living in their cars.
I enjoy that Love's laid out the pumps, parking, and driving lanes to accommodate camper sizes. The noise from the interstate is the only downside, but I was exhausted and slept through the noise.
The staff was always warm and welcoming to the customers.

This was our 2nd time staying at a Loves RV spot because of its convenience. A quick spot off the highway and you can pump diesel on your way out.

We like that check in is through the phone and don’t need any codes or keys to get connected to the water or electricity (like the previous Loves we stayed at). One thing we didn’t like was the dump area because you have to make an extra stop on your way out to dump everything. Other Loves have sewer connections per site and this one had one for everyone. Although, it was free to use because of our stay. There was also a lot of noise but that’s expected with any gas stations.

This is our second stay at a Love's RV Stop. The price on this location is higher than it should be because it does not have showers and a private bath. Yes, showers can be taken inside the store, but that is an additional fee. Maybe that could be included? Also, the WiFi is basically non-existent. We had one bar that would not stay on. We couldn't use it. Parking is easy, but it is not in a private, fenced area. There is a nice dog park nearby. Chester Chicken and McDonalds are on site.
