We love this Campground and return often. We road bikes into Ocean Springs and kayaked. Hosts are great and super helpful. Ocean Springs has a great farmer's market on Saturdays. My only struggle was the shower. It was in the 90s when we were there and not only is there no air, there isn't even an exhaust fan. It was stifling.

The parking is just a little ridiculous crazy you can put a tent on the grass but lawd don’t get 1 tire on it you will get a notice ! The spots are not user friendly for elders to many uneven surfaces for sure ! Ea pad should be double in my opinion couldn’t step out the door without downhill step ! No sewage or gray water at sites makes a lot more havoc for all as well

Medium campground with water, electric, and central dump station. Very quiet and spacious. Lots of wildlife (raccoons, bats, birds). Not so level paved back in sites. Sites are all different lengths, so CAREFULLY read the fine print and description. Site #33 was just barely long enough for our trailer (35 ft) and truck (25 ft). They are particular about the grass and nothing on it so we didn't put anything down in the grass, so we barely fit truck & trailer on the asphalt. We reserved 13 nights, but we had to cut our stay short on account of Tropical Storm Bertha/Tropical Depression 2 and the park service giving the evacuation notice for the Gulf Islands National Seashore. We enjoyed getting our e-bikes out around the area. We rode the bike path to the beach, you could go downtown, but we were leary of traffic. The Visitor's Center has a nice viewing platform of the bayou and marshlands and was very informative, staff there was friendly. The campground stayed pretty full of campers coming and going, but everyone was respectful. It was quiet at 10pm. The restrooms and shower rooms are HOT, not just the water.. Take a portable fan for air flow! The water is also soft! The Park Rangers and Camp Hosts were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We will come back to this park again if in the area! I'm sad Mother Nature had other plans for us. We camped at Davis Bayou Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wasn’t enough room for our truck even though there was enough room on rocks but they said we had to be on pavement. We put the length of our camper. This should not have happened. And we were hounded about it to the point we just wanted to leave
