Great, very clean campground. Quiet after dark. The only thing I would recommend is a playground or water feature for the kids.

Excellent campsite, spacious clean and well maintained. Very well monitored and in an excellent location for shopping, dining out and exploring the coast and bayou. For those with dogs, there is great dog park about a mile from the entrance.

A very well kept park with good signage. Many offerings for educational learning within the park itself and some AC to cool you down while looking at the exhibits during the HOT Aug weather. The scenery itself is worth the trip itself with well maintained trails and roadways(there was road construction towards the Visitor center to widen a portion but wasn't a big deal, wouldn't be a trip without some roadwork...lol).
Restrooms and showers were clean but showers could use better ventilation as one shouldn't sweat excessively while showering. Plenty of shaded areas to cool down. Doesn't have sewer hookups but all sites had water/electric.

Loved the place. One of the cleanest campgrounds I’ve visited.
It was very peaceful and yet only minutes from everything.
We stayed on the way to Louisiana and again on the way back to Georgia.

Only had an overnight stay, but would highly recommend staying here. Staff is friendly and helpful and will definitely stay here again when passing through.
Bathrooms are clean and showers had plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure.
